Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

I am going to double check this again tonight by switching around two 
ROM's in my XL-7. If it goes by ID then my patterns will still play 
correctly. If the patterns were based soley on ROM location, the MP-7 
patterns would play on the XL-7, but with the wrong patches. Not 
getting any sound from those patters makes me think it is looking for 
that specific ROM. And isn't this why you have to get a MP-7 ROM and 
not just the Mo Phatt ROM to play those patterns?
