Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

If you had the ROM from an XL-7 in your MP-7, then the patterns would 
play. The patters look for the patch they were programmed to play. 
That patch is tied to the ROM id, not location. What you can do it 
edit each pattern and reassign the individual channels to patches on 
the MP-7. This might be a bit difficult as your are guessing what the 
XL-7 patches sound like, and what will work as substitutes on the MP-
7.
