Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

No patterns but there are BEATS Presets which can be used with a pattern or recorded into a new
pattern. Check out your manual on how to use BEATS presets. Plus, there are some pretty interesting
ARP presets. Lastly, any of the Auditions can also be recorded into a new pattern. MIDI out to MIDI
set record to note on and then press audition. Make sure your track is set to internal. BTW, It
defaults to internal. This should give you enough material to work with.

Actually, I just received it from Sweetwater yesterday. They received
it from EMU last week. I agree with you that it sounds great on my
new XL-7.
BTW I expected to get some patterns coming with World Eexpedition but
I was told by EMU tech support that it only contains presets. Any
comment on that?
