My "Wiard"-Album available in the U.S.A. now (or soon)

Dear Wiard-lovers!

Grant officially allowed me (a few month ago) to announce my (Wiard-)
album in this group!

The CD: smoo - "traffic in my soul" is now or very soon available
from Valley Entertainement in New York. It is already available in
Europe and in Asia from Neuronium and BMG-Ariola.

I produced the CD almost entirely on the Wiard. Small correction to
the info on the wiard-homepage: I used only for two songs the 6
standard Wiard modules, for the rest I used 11 Wiard Modules. Of
course I used other Modulars, Synths and Effects. But the Wiard is by
far my most important instrument. There is a story in the
newest "Electronic Musician" about the project, the Album and the use
of that wonderful genious Modular.

BTW: The style is Electronic, Ambient, Chillout/Downbeat....whatever!!

Yes, there are 4 MP3's right on my homepage (www.smoosound.com)
It is still only in german, but the MP3's are on the first side.
There is also an excerpt on the Wiard homepage that I did, analogue
slowmotion). It did a track out of this for the album where I had
extreme fun with the use of the 6 Wiard standart Modules (Classic
VCO, Waveform-City, the Omnifilter I love so much, Envelator,
Mixolator and Sequantizer, a bench of Blacet helpers and a supercool-
warm Reverb (Quantec). And there is some simple stuff in the Files-
section of this group!

That "whatever" is the keyword for me. I'm so glad to hear that the
album is being released overseas as well, and I wish Olivier the best
of success. As far as I know, pop & underground acts are rarely
successful on both sides of the Atlantic at the same point in time.
But Olivier's music is very special and far outside of the
restrictions of the genres it uses elements of. No, I'm not on
Olivier's payroll, and I've never been a fan of said genres (and
generally dislike "how to use" labels like "chillout"), but this
album is individual, fresh, deep, and seems to never run dry of new
elements to discover. Thanks!
