Are you thinking of a multimode external signal processor module?
In true Wiard all-in-one tradition, I could imagine it might include:
- preamp for mic/instrument
- envelope follower w/gate extractor, EG & filter
- triggered LFO
- pitch -> CV converter
- if there's room, a pair of footswitch/S-trig -> gate converters
... of course the EG, LFO, filter, and other functions would be 
independently patched out, but it would probably be more normalized than 
any existing Wiard module ...

But I like the logic module idea, too ...

Has this ever been perfected? I know people tell me that this or that one
doesn't really work that well.
I think someone else once told me the Serge one (Gentle Electronics?) was
pretty good.
