Thanks Dave, Yes Doc, it does work that way..actually I did it on the Waveform City.

With the AR is best set to linear, I'd forgotten mine is defaulted at exp but I have the mod so just pulling the vol knob gives me linear and then it's perfect!

Portamento, a.k.a. glide, is simply the use of a slew limiter (a.k.a. lag) on the pitch CV.
