These are inputs to each JAG (the joysticks are normalled to these
but can be interrupted) so you can use an external source to drive
the JAG such as the outputs from LFOs, Noise Rings, WoggleBug, etc.

These are "group" outputs: the dome voltage is determined by X/Y
proximity to the center of the intersecting zones (with the maximum
voltage determined by the "dome height" pot) while the edge voltage
is determined by proximity to ANY outside edge.

No. It actually determines whether the JAG treats the incoming X/Y
voltages as unipolar (0-10v such as a joystick) or bipolar (-5v to
+5v such as the Borg LFOs, which actually output a range of -4v to
+4v if I'm not mistaken).
