Dual joystick panel power question

Dual joystick panel power question

2007-09-19 by r_a_quirk

Grant

Can the old wiard dual joystick with vu meter panel be powered from a
normal fracrack power supply (i.e. blacet supply) or does it have to be
powered from the power supply that came with it. I'm hoping to put in
a small portable system.

cheers

Richard

I'm using one with a Blacet power supply. Shouldn't be a problem.

No problem powering it off of a Blacet supply.

If you have the skills to change connectors here are the part numbers:

Connector Housing: Molex Part # 09-50-3041
Connector Pins: Molex Part # 08-50-0108

The crimp tools are over $200, so I would just solder to the pins.

Current draw is a mere 25 ma anyway.
