Hello all,

Through the efforts of Neil Leonard (doctor of music, New England
Conservatory and professor of electronic music, Berklee College of
Music), and the kind support of several manufacturers (Blue Sky
Monitors, Taralabs Cables, and tcelectronic) and the City of Rome and
the City of Venice, this June, I will be in Italy, installing
"Sanctuaries" - recordings of a collection ambient electronic sound
scuptures created and performed on my Wiard Modular Music System, in
churches and public places around Italy.

The tour will occur from the 12th to the 29th, including Rome, Torino,
Venice, San Galgano, and several small places in and around La Spezia.

No, the modular will not be on the tour - all of the music is dts
encoded and played back via a stereo compact flash player, decoding
via a dts decoder to 5.1 output, which feeds the bass management
system of the playback system.

Dedicated to the memory of my departed mother, Diana Lee Chang.

Shortly, there will be a catalog published outling our whereabouts
during the tour.

Of course, many thanks to Grant for his contribution to my music
wellfare and happiness.

We are carrying a Soundfield SP422b mic with the plan of recording at
each and every location. I am in discussion with a few companies,
with the idea of collecting IR information from the various locations
and turning them into actual reverb models. Aside from the church
locations, in La Spezia, we have access to the Naval base, which has
huge indoor dry docks for warships. Other places of interest is the
marble quarries and a few museums....
