I had a chat with Grant today that I think that many Wiard 300 owners
will like - Grant is going to create 300 series form factor faceplates
for the Boogie and the Borg2 - putting 2 x 1200 series modules one
over the other in a vertical pair.

These are 300 panels in dimension - they do not have the patch array
at the bottom - they are, in fact, two 1200 series modules, one above
the other.  I requested this because I am 2 modules short of have a
full rack.  I suspect that there are many out there who are in the
same boat....

What this means - for instance, is that I can put my Boogie
Hipass/Lopass pair behind a single 300 series panel, with the lopass
on top and the hipass on the bottom.  I will put two Borg2 modules
behind a dual Borg2 panel - one on top of the other.

Personally, I love the Borg2's - they possess a lot of the essence of
the old Buchla lopass gate, without the anomolies of that design.  The
Borg1's are perfect for panning with the Jag - and the Borg2 are the
perfect new century lopass gate.
