Thickness of faceplate sand introduction

Hi list, I'm peeping here for a while and just have ordered my first Wiard modules (Joy Stick + Axis Generator) to gain eventually controll over my Doepfer (mainly) and Blacet hybrid modular. Could anyone let me know how thick the faceplates of the 2 Wiard modules in quest. are, pls.? Any experience how well the colour at Schaeffer Apparatebau matches with the colour of the black faceplates? I'd like to start constructing their housing before they arrive overhere in oversea.
