Classic VCO testpoints

Classic VCO testpoints

2004-12-28 by mritenburg

This might be a question for Grant...

I'm working on this patch using the RND output of the Classic VCO in
low mode. I started thinking it would be nice to clock the RND from
an external source. I popped open my Classic VCO to see if any of
the test points provide a RND clock in... I couldn't find one. Does
anybody know if there is an easy mod to clock the RND from an
external source?

Thanks in advance,

Matthew

What are you going to use as a clock signal?

This was something I was interested in doing, and I got the directions
from Grant. Once I got a Woggle bug, I felt I didn't really need to.
The step outputs provide the same functionality.

There isn't a test point. It involved snipping a resistor and/or diode.

I plan on using the gate from one channel of a Roland MPU-101.
Infact, last night Christophe (I hope he doesn't mind me sharing
this) Contacted me and suggested I try doing hard sync. I tried it
and it works quite well. In hindsight, I feel like a boob for not
thinking of this my self.

If I only had a wogglebug :-(
