Noise Ring Sync Input & White Noise Out

Noise Ring Sync Input & White Noise Out

2004-10-05 by mrboningen

Hey All,

So the sync input mod for the noise ring is a definte no no? That's a
shame.

On another note, maybe Grant could answer this, I just looked at the
pic of the MOTMised Noise Ring, and noticed it has a White Noise Out
(I am presuming that's what it is anyway). I am dying for this mod,
and was just wondering how easy it would be to perform. Could you
post details here please?

Best Wishes,

Gregg.

The synch mod is untested in actual practice. Maybe it works?
I'll post it if it does.

To bring out white noise on the NR, just attach a jack to J11, the
wire going to the switch input of the "Chance In" jack.

It is a 10 volt p-p (approx) signal with a 1K resistor in series.

Attaching a jack to Ji11. Did you mean to say male to female?

Couldn't resist. My sad life....

Noise Ring - White Noise Out and SPDT for J12

2005-01-10 by Justin Modra

Two great additions to the Noise ring (without hacking
into the circuit board) are:

Add a SPDT toggle switch to J12 to change the
"noisy-ness" of the output.

And add a White Noise output as suggested below. Both
of these mods are pretty cool.
