New MP3 and Photo
2004-03-25 by Michael A. Firman
Hi, I just got through uploading a new MP3 and a photo of the patch that created it. The patch used two Noise Rings to control the X and Y inputs to a pair of JAGS. The outputs of the JAGS controlled two VCOs (pitch and timbre via wave shaping and filtering), a modulated delay line, various other sonic parameters, and, finally, the clock rates and the chance inputs of the Noise Rings. The patch just howled on. I recorded about 20 minutes of it, in which time it morphed all over the place. The MP3 is just a few seconds of it (with a little reverb added). enjoy
