RE: Play the game, hear the Wiard.

Okay, okay...I'll explain. Composer Steve Kirk, who as a member of the Club Foot Orchestra helped score "The Twisted Tales of Felix the Cat" for CBS in the mid '90s, was create to provide the Voodoo Vince music. One of the interests of the game designer was that there be a mixture of acoustic and electronic instruments. The other interest was that the pieces be lengthy, so the player wouldn't hear them repeat as often as in other games. Consequenly, this game soundtrack has "music" rather than short cues. It's got a lot of horns and is very jazzy, with a bit of Zappa-meets-Nino-Rota mixed in. And, there's quite a bit of neat electronic stuff in there. I was asked primarily to play theremin (my Maestro iinstrument). However, for the track that made it onto the CD, called "House of Scary Stuff," I played my Wiard Classice VCO using an Analogue Systems French Connection keyboard to get an Ondes-Martenot sound. On other tracks, the Maestro went through a Borg filter (as well as a Metasonix device, sometimes, for a bit of grunge). To hear the other tracks with Wiard modules, you'll have to play the game. :-) ginorobair
