No, it's working correctly. VCA mode on the Borg removes the feedback (resonance) circuit for a 6db rolloff. With the control engaged but set to minimum there is nearly no feedback, so the sound is very similar. If you listen very close, you'll notice the VCA mode is slightly brighter and more "open sounding." This feature wasn't on the 1.0 Borgs. Somene please correct me if I worded any of the above wrong.
