Actually, they are referring to the synth in general, not just this 
one module. There are other module graphics not unlike it in the 
system. The name came I think from Grant, and no doubt partly because 
my synth site was just a subsection of a much larger site devoted to 
catgirl art and stories. That's gone now, and the Synth section has 
moved to a new home, though the name has definitely stuck, to the 
point where even I use it now.
