Thanks Andrew, The panel is a standard issue MOTM blank available right on the site. I drilled it out to MOTM spacing with my drill press and I used one of Larry Hendry's very convenient panel brackets to mount the pcb to. I used almost entirely the original Wiard wires to make connections and only had to extend a couple like ground. The front panel LED's were board mounted and in series with the vactrols in the filter. I moved them to the front panel mainly for show. I love a good LED response don't you? The LEDs get more intense with the rise of cutoff frequency and they are lit most brightly with the filter open. All of the legending is simply black plastic Brother label tape with white letters. Cool what you can do with this stuff in a pinch. Schaeffer panels were too expensive and not enough people have a joyrider to warrant making a stooge panel :( The only mods I did to the circuit was to add a level control to the input which I now know I don't really need and I made both resonance controls available separately instead of having them tied to one pot. I love this VCF and it makes sense to buy a Borg since the Joyrider uses the same pcb only about half stuffed with parts. The Full Borg must be a true devil! I really think the dual filters controlled by the joystick are what make this filter happen for me also. So cool to swim the stick around with a bit of resonance going. Great job Grant, I'm lucky to have one of these, off to make my own joystick bank inspired by the fun of this filter! Thomas White PS.
