my only problem with having the blacet in a portable system is the 
depth they require for the large pcb.  I've got a binary zone and 
klangwerk and they're both very fine modules.  I'm thinking of a 
portable system with only shallow modules.  Perhaps a custom panel for 
two miniwaves side by side with the panels mounted parallel behind the 
panel?

re the envelooper and it needing a vactrol input, will it not be 
useable as a c/v for wave sequencing?
