I have in my hands today a Frac format Miniwave Expander from Dave Hylander, about which I will report more fully in due time. But YOW. It's a phenomenal bit of design, a stainless steel mounting bracket with boards on each side. You get 10 cv-selectable ROM slots, plus an inverter. I've got a miniwave kit on order, and am still toying with a FPE design for a 1U panel strictly to hold the Matthew Davidson's Scale Quantizer ROM. I'll post results if/when it works. > 2) sticking with frac-rac size, for my 2cents worth, the essential 3rd > party add-on is the bananalogue vcs. Sweet Jesus, yes. It can do a dozen different things besides just being an LFO/Envelope. And yet, for all that, it's less than half of a 300 series Envelator (single AD/AR instead of dual, no crossfader, no multiple). I can't wait for the Envelooper :) Paul
