It seems to me that the Miniwave/Waveform City technology is the basis for many module possiblities. I remember a message from Grant, long ago about multiplexing the board so it could be used for 8 things at once. What would stop you from making a whole panel of modules all using one miniwave for the processing. That could be a quantizer, many kinds of waveshapers, a window comparator, a tracking generator, a PRSG (digital noise source), anyone else have any ideas? What about making a harmonic generator that has a saw tooth core with a multiplexed miniwave to get 10 sine waves out? How about a waveform City with 2 waves at one time that can be crossfaded between? how about a Miniwave based Buchla 266? (digital noise and "random" voltages) What happened to the ultimate Frequency shifter? (with a Miniwave based quadrature oscillator, to get perfect sine waves) A Buchla Octal Signal source-type beast? That's 24 wavetable oscillators configured as 8 voices. I've never actually seen or heard this one, but it must be awesome. I don't know if you could multiplex it that far, but you could get 8 maybe. anyone else? -- mark verbos "if you want something done right, build it yourself." www.simple-answer.com watch out for... on my label SIMPLE ANSWER "Form is Emptiness" Simple Answer 006 out now, distributed by Integrale, UK
