My guess is the problem is related to Mac and Windows font 
compatibility. The pdf was generated on an iMac under OS 9.2. 
The fonts used are Arial and Century Schoolbook. You might 
check to see if they are installed.

The pdf opens successfully with Acrobat 4.0 under Windows 95, 
98 and NT. But I have no access to ME, XP or 2000.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
