re: 'click-timing' on the PSIM
did you ever try my pgm: syncable.bas?
it's on Brices Yahoo Group, in files/program code/code
fragments/MBASIC/syncable.bas
it's a 'starter recipe' but the timing clicks can be held to a very
consistent rate if you're careful to keep the interrupt routine lean
