Hello All, not seeing a lot of traffic on the list lately so I
figured I would try to start a discussion. I'm looking at the Omni
Filter and trying to decide if it would be worth the money and
time...I already have the Borg, and I think my Wiard modules are
great, but I just need to be able to justify spending that much money

Since I was the guy selling a few modules, I'll take this one. . .

First, I have over 3 racks of WIARD 300 Modules...im sure its one of
the bigger systems around. . . and I LOVE it. . .but most of it sadly
is not used. . .I find my 'core' "musickbox" is:
vco/wav/borg/env/woggle/mix . .

The BORG is *the* WIARD filter IMO its the one I use every day. . .
MUCH more than the omni. . .BUT i do like the 12db on the
thing....this is where it sounds nice. . .

AS far as "worth"...my first wiard system I purchased in 199? for
$2799ish plus change..it was one of the first systems. . .in the past
2 years I have purchased modules in the range of $550-$900 each. . .
But that is not where the market is (I was only able to sell 2
modules for my asking price...the others will go into storage till i
get back) IMO they are worth it...hell...I just got a quote from STS
for 2 'STOCK' panelz ...the quote was $8000+ WITHOUT PSU......wiard
is still cheap!)

BTW: I am looking for 2 woggle bugs. will pay $800 each and have
modules to trade!

thanx for the wiard grant! it brings me great joy every day!
