Holly cow! This time around I stayed out of the debate as John tended to have a "yearly" cycle on his provocative threads - last year we had a long thread about the Wiard front-plate graphics, form following function, and whether personality mattered in a machine. As much as I disagreed with his strong views, I am very sorry to hear what happened. His contribution to making this list a lively one was invaluable, and for how heated debates could get he always found a way to stay on friendly ground. Vaya con Dios.
