Re: Envelator as slooow LFO

Hello,
I dont have an envelator or Wiard at all for that matter (one day!!) So I am not really sure of the ins and outs, but if its a vc env gen then you can patch a negative voltage in somewhere to stretch out the segments of envelopment. (Techincal terms ; )
A good place to start would be to use the inverted envelope output and feed this back into the machine. Hmm.. Exponential negative voltages fed back... how would that shape the envelopes? would it flatten out, make it a log response? Would it be exponentially slow and come to a grinding halt? What would that sound like? Where are my patchcords?
DOes the envelator have a trig out per step? maybe you could use it to step your sequantizer so for each step it would go at a different programmed rate.. tons of possibilities!

Now Im really jonesing because Im at school and my modular is far away at home, untouched for over a month! : ( I want to play!!!
Hope this helps a bit.... Dont know what level youre at with this stuff... Experiment and have fun!!
