Hello guys <:-)
This was my attempt: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/wiard
There was little self-initiated reaction (hey Mark), and then I had to turn
attention to other things -- at this time getting the Buchla 700 repaired is my
only concern.
I'd love to see this Yahoogroup becoming a forum for exchange of files,
ideas and discussion regarding the possibilites of the *.256 wavetables in the
Wiard. As great and exceptional the other stuff is, I think this really is the
heart of the Wiard. Nonlinear synthesis, pulse sequencing, sample playback and
processing are just starting points and yet provide brainfood for years. Anyone
who gave his Wavecity a "Bank select" CV input?; who uses two or more WCs for
higher control level or polyphony (PPG sound rules, and it's that easy with some
detuning)?; who has made a speech-synth chip?; who uses a ROMulator plugged to
the WC for rapid program change in live performance situations? etc etc.
Regarding release dates for the described new modules, refer to the Wiard
"purchase" page, and have a smile.
For people who are not so familiar with Wiard yet (I often hear concerns
about the seemingly small module range), I posted to the file area a list of a
few perhaps less obvious facts about Wiard modules.
I've often heard of Wiard customers with crazy case/ rackmounting ideas -
I'm certainly curious to see some results!
Finally I'd like to know if you would say that the information on Wiard webpages and *.PDF manuals were a good thing/ helped with/ were required for learning about stuff and deciding to buy/ sucked because of all the mistakes (outdated, missing or contradicting info)/ or whatever.

Best wishes to all;
