Roland Jupiter 4 VCO width problem

Roland Jupiter 4 VCO width problem

2014-06-30 by nico678@...

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to repair a Roland Jupiter 4.

I can't adjust the VCo width properly on one of the voice module.

The width adjustment potentiometer is at the maximum but the octaves are not in tune on this voice.

Anybody has an idea what could be the cullprit?

Thank you!

Regards,

Nicolas

On this model , doesnt the microprocessor "READ" the value of that pot on a continual basis?

If so, check the solder /wire connections to the pot and check continuity from the pot leads back to the IC is runs through
