Where can I adjust the sensitivity of the force sensor?
It´s doing the job too well at the moment..

Hello Terje, that´s clear to me... but not what I was looking for. I have to adjust the overall sensitivity of the strap below the keys. Even if I have the selection knob at let´s say 8:00 o´clock the effect is far too early because the force strip below the keys is far too sensitive, or is triggering too early. That means, if I push the key with normal strength the effect is there immediately, like the hub of the key is too short. Is there an internal adjustment, or do I have to adjust the force strap mechanically by lowering it in relation to the keys? Hello Terje,

I have to adjust the overall sensitivity of the strap below the keys. Is there an internal adjustment, or do I have to adjust the force strap mechanically by lowering it in relation to the keys?
Best regards

Ah OK, where is R53 located? I guess on tandem board 3, not the main board? I guess there should be an access hole in the rear? For me it seems, that the keys come in contact too soon with the force sensor rod, the keys are not fully down, when getting in contact, and therefore I can not really control the pressure. It feels like I press the keys down 2 mm, and immediately the force sensor is reacting... Maybe this also could be a mechanical problem, maybe some cup washers missing or something like that. Could that be possible? best regards, Ambrosia --- In vintagesynthrepair@yahoogroups.com, Terje Winther <terje.winther@...> wrote:

Update... I checked the pots, the reason for the misbehaviour of the Multimoog was in fact R53, the good news is: it is accessable from the rear. It´s the hole right next to the main power switch on the right, below the row of holes from the mainboard. Now it is working like it should! What a nice machine... with the filter mod it is really nice sounding. Just came back from service 2 weeks ago, now the OSC1 is modded so there is no jitter noise anymore. Smooth sounding synth... Now I need some help with the next machine... ;-) --- In vintagesynthrepair@yahoogroups.com, Terje Winther <terje.winther@...> wrote:
