Vintage Synth Repair

I also have  Farfisacombo compact deluxe with a ver y faint output.Someone told 
me you have to have the volume pedal plugged in to make it work correctly,but 
according to the schematic it looks like  you don't need  it.any ideas?

This is true, I used to add a jumper  to the jack to bypass the need of a volume 
pedal. Don't have a schematic handy, but it should be obvious, if not post the 
circuit.
