DX7 Special Edition Eprom

DX7 Special Edition Eprom

2010-05-21 by John Henson

Hi all,
Does anyone have the binary image of the DX7 special edition Eprom.
I have a DX7 here which needs a battery change but no RAM cartridge to save the presets to.
There is also no tape save option, but the special edition ROM has Sysex dump as an option.
I could burn a ROM quickly and get the job done.
The other option? write down the parameter list for 32 presets and then manually program the whole thing back in again.
Not something I would look forward to!
Regards
John

The stock/factory PROM that came with the DX7 should also have a sysex dump option. The patches can't be saved currently?
