novation bassstation rack and strange 88 on display

hi my bassstation rack is displaying 88 on turning on. All i get is 11, 22, 33, 44 etc when entering numbers. The controller knobs do not work and yet i can control the values if i use an external controller and i get sounds via an external keyboard. Anyone got any idea how i can fix this?
