Hi, I'm on the hunt for the following bits for a Roland S-10: 1: 2 x end plates/covers for the main unit - The plastic covers that screw onto each end (side) of the S-10. 2: 1 x LCD display (or just the backlight, since mine's dead!) Any help or comments appreciated! Cheers, Mike.

Greetings, Just thought I'd check here before purchasing one from one of the usual sources. My omni exhibits the usual tantalum cap failure, but there's a fried cap & resistor in the phaser section too. peace, john

Well - late response, but just for reference to come.. I got mine from Mark Glinsky in xerox - and I didn't regret cashing out when I saw the bundle of paper. It is a much lengthier read than the Omni I service manual. And - if you haven't got it up and running allready - Best of luck. -Mu --- In vintagesynthrepair@yahoogroups.com, John Wieczorek <evening@...> wrote: > > Greetings, > > Just thought I'd check here before purchasing one from one of the > usual sources. > > My omni exhibits the usual tantalum cap failure, but there's a fried

Thanks I may need to shell out for it. I replaced the 22uf caps on the voice boards and the violin/viola section is working fine. The chorus needed new caps as well. On some notes he cello, bass parts exhibit an odd and intermittent "blip on release" - almost a double trigger. And I've noticed that the staccato button doesn't really do anything so it may be that the 1uf caps must be replaced as well. Mr Glnksy it is... peace, jmw
