Vintage Technics synth

2006-11-06 by sputnik979

Hey guys, I have an old keyboard from technics, called SX-K250
http://i18.ebayimg.com/06/i/08/a3/dc/69_1.JPG
and along with time the sound started to deteriorate, it was as if
overdriven, and less and less audible, trying to get through but being
torn by some invisible grater. I need a service manual / schematics for
this model, but where do I find one ? The Technics / Panasonic support
is not quite good.
cheers

Hello:I deal with Technics occassionally to get service manuals,I know what
you mean about not too good,They will however usually make a copy of the
manual you need and send it at a reasonable price,it's just a matter of
getting the person who answers the phone to cooperate with you,if they start
by asking you questions about yourself be firm and ask for their
supervisor, you might be talking to a person in India or someplace and will
have to call back at a different time to get through to the actual service
Dept,The actual service Dept is pretty cooperative. Here is the Contact
information for them,I usually start by calling the Consumer Accessories
number first.P.S. if you need parts they probably won't have them but they
will give you a part number so you can Google it and maybe find it
elsewhere.
