I'm not quite sure but don't think X5 had keybed with metal contacts, only few Korg and Yamaha 5 octave instruments had such. And with metal contacts on such keyboard can't be any mechanical problem even when instrument was used heavily. Much probably there are standard rubber contact stripes. Just open it and clean contacts, it's possible there's some dust under rubber contact strip. In the case some rubber button is broken, you have to get new contact stripe and change it.
