I am in the opposite situation, having a few synths here in the UK that came from japan or the US, & only three of which I have been able to convert permanently. my RS09 has a new transformer to run on 220/50. one of my model-Ds can be rewired internally, & I already did two sources like this, but an earlier model-D will need a new transformer or to stay on the step-up. my cs50 has a very complicated power supply & will have to stay on the step-up for now. but none of this makes any difference to the workings of the synths. now, if you were talking about a hammond, that'd be different.... :-) d.
