Hi everyone. I have a Peavey DPM2 synth which I just got on Ebay. It's the second Peavey synth I've owned. I know Peavey synths are looked at tongue-in-cheek sometimes, but I like the uniqueness of the sound and the physically indestructable design! Anyway, I opened up my new Peavey and turned it on. I was playing it for less than 10 minutes when the outputs started burping an intense static which gradually overcame the music and finally gave way to complete silence. Now the outs are dead. Does anyone what the problem likely is? Is it the D/A converters or some kind of pre-amplifier which is wired just behind the outs? I think this must be something someone could be familiar with. Any help anyone on here can offer is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
