I had a really odd pitch problem on one VCO of a Prophet-600: for some strange reason a 42.2K resistor decided it would be a 30K resistor. It was not physically broken, and still measured 30K after removal. Installing a new resistor fixed things. If I recall, the resistor was in series with the scale trimpot. Crow /**/
