Some instruments can recognize pedal polarity automatically. Pedal must be connected and not pressed, then switch on the instrument and wait until instrument starts. Some instruments could set pedal polarity, there must be function for it somewhere in parameter's menu. Some instruments like only pedal of the same producer. Or maybe your instrument can read more positions for sustain (quarter pedal, half pedal...) and needs three contacts (stereojack) on pedal cabel (plus special pedal of course). But it should work also with mono jack (switch only) pedal. Check if your connection is OK. Pedal MUST work in either position of its polarity switch, one of them will work in opposite way. If it doesn't work at all, then there's connection or other problem. You can always try the same pedal with the other instrument, or your instrument with the other pedal to find where's the problem :-) Daniel Forro On 25 Aug 2009, at 1:17 PM, master_peau wrote: > I'm enjoying using this board, but have one problem.
