Assuming you've replicated the patch settings including the VCA initial gain slider....
Check the slider by running it up and down a couple of times - Odyssey sliders are prone to going open circuit. Does that have any effect? Also do the same with all your VCA sliders - sometimes the Release can go the same way and give an artifically long hanging note.
Happy sliding

Subject: [vintagesynthrepair] Arp Odyssey Problem

Hi All,

I have an Arp Odyssey that I used for the first time in a good 9
months and found this previously non-existent problem: whatever I do it
will always be playing a note! So if I press a key on the keyboard that
pitch will sound but continues to sound after I've released the key. As
you can surely tell I'm very new older synths so I'm guessing I could
be doing something wrong. I've been setting up patches from the manual
but that same thing happens. It won't stop playing a note!

Thanks in advance,

Nick.
