Sequential circuits samplers

Hello,

I'm new to the list, just bought a Prophet 2002.
Received it yesterday and when I firs powered it on, it was acting 
really strangely, so I opened it up, and noticed one connector that goes 
form one board to another, was loose (probably due to transport). After 
finding some poor scans of the schematics I think I was able to 
determine what was the corect orientation to properly reconnect it (it's 
connector tb301 where there are 2 cables coming from 2 different boards).
Now it seams to be working properly, but the sound of the digital 
(sampler) part  is really really low (barely bearable). If I crank the 
resonance of the filter to self oscillation I can hear it at proper 
volume, which makes me think that there must be something wrong with the 
connection from digital to analog part.
Any one ever experienced anything like this or knows what could be wrong?
