O.T. - Oberheim DPX-1 group - anyone interested?

O.T. - Oberheim DPX-1 group - anyone interested?

2007-11-14 by somethingkillingyou

Hi everyone,

I was thinking myself to set up an Oberheim DPX-1 user group...

the "goals" will be:

-to format disks (with a PC) in ANY format that the DPX-1 plays
(included Prophet 2000/2002 if possible!)
-to write sound disks in those formats
-to use midi sample dump correctly
-to share our knowledges and sound banks
-OS updates

...everything we can do with a DPX-1!

the DPX-1 is a powerful tool!
with some work, we could unleash the power behind its shortcoming...

we just need some extra (working) tool, like right softwares...

Hi Fabio,

Great idea - count me in.

I have some Mirage/Prophet 2000 and EII discs in 3.5" format to share
and I also copied the latest OS EPROMs from my DPX-1 and I make them
available to download from my website.

Cheers

Chris

I also have a DPX1 and would be interested in P2000 disks. Already have large EII
collection.

Cheers
Paul
