My guess (having never owned a DPX) is that it will change the sounds in a
way that you will notice, based on how much filtering is applied in the
patch.

The 2000 has a dedicated Curtis VCF/VCA as well as a DAC on each channel.
This is what makes the 2000 a rather unique "analog" instrument with
software OSCs.

If the DPX doesn't have the same analog back-end, results will definitely
vary. Many programs (like a piano patch), might not use any filtering at
all, and these probably translate without much notice.
