Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

hello all,

after several attempts to tune the KLM366 (tuning infos from this Blog ) I decided to replaced the famous PC1 P1501 chip with a VTL5C3 and change R93 from 4k7 to 1k2 , but nothing change !! impossible to do tuning all of voices or 1 , I do my settings with a frequencymeter and a software and i follow many procedure and this one also

try changing Q12. Check page 24 of the Kiwisix Upgrade manual for
sources of these and other things to try.

hi ,

transistor Q12 seems to be good (measure diode), the manual kiwisix is full of extra information thx, but I still not have a good tune , all seems good (ic 19, IC 31, P1501 ,Q12)if someone could give me different point of voltage of VR's, like 1,2,3 ,15 would help me a lot !!thanks

It could still be the Q12 and a meter wouldn't pick up the fact that it
is no longer tracking correctly. Also changing the TL072 (IC17) would be
a good move.
