Reparing KLM-370 PCB ?

Reparing KLM-370 PCB ?

As you can see on this picture the copper layer has been ripped off due to an excessive tension on the black ground wire...

Is there an easy way to fix this ?

Yes, there is.
All four of those resistors (R2, 3, 4 and 5) are connected where the
black wire comes in -- all you have to do is solder a wire lead across
all four, and then solder the black wire to that.

Carefully scratch away a rectangle of the green resin on the ground plane
next to the damage until you see copper exposed, but don¹t go in too deep.
Tin the new Œpad¹ you have created with solder. Solder a wire across the
four resistor contacts so they are connected and run one end of this wire
down to the new pad. Tin the ground wire and solder and whole lot together
carefully. Check the continuity of all the components you have soldered
using a DMM to check they all connect.

My Polysixes tend to pick up AM radio in the evenings without the ground
wire so it is important!!
