I made a buy on a good quantity of the memory chips for polysix. Also know that these are used in some Yamaha products and I'm not sure what all. TC5514APL-3 . Ask for quantity pricing. I was going to charge 8.50 for single quantity. $5.50ea. in 10+ , $4.50ea. in 50+, $4.00 in 100+ -Bob

Really? I deal with Jameco all the time. I scoured them and other venders and found no such thing. What's their part number? If they are manufacturing these again maybe I didn't get such a good deal and I'll have to get rid of them at a lower price.

I just did a search on Jameco's online catalog. I can't find a hit on mfg. part number TC5514 or TC5514APL-3 ... what am I doing wrong? -Bob

PS I should have said just bookmark the sounddoctorin.com synth resource page if you haven't already. The 'parts' link there has the parts that I currently carry mostly. Under semiconductor in this case. The pages have a lot of tech tips for specific synths also though if you look under 'production synths' link there at the first page of the global synth page.

I'm also trying another rendition of the contact repair scheme and it's looking good. Should have news soon. This is a scheme by which old poly contacts etc. can be made like new in about an hour of bench time or like that. I should have kits available soon. So keep watch on the page for that.-Bob
