Does anyone have a spare EG INTENSITY pot for sale?

Does anyone have a spare EG INTENSITY pot for sale?

2009-03-01 by adr3laynyc

Hi!

My EG intensity pot (the one with the center notch) has suddenly got all gritty feeling when I
turn it and I fear it's on the way out and would like to replace it before it goes. It all the
sudden feels like gravel is inside! What is that?

I checked vintage planet NL but they say they are out of stock. Does anyone know where I
can find one?

Thanks!

Hi,

Before you write the pot off remove it from the P6, find the cleaning hole and give it a good hard blast with IPA spray. If it still feels gritty then the carbon track or pointer may have broken up. Ones with a ' centre detent ' have a ball bearing which operates the click. perhaps this came adrift. Let us know how cleaning goes...

Cheers,
Andy

Hi Andy,

Thanks very much for the excellent advice, very good to know.

I'll give that "a shot" first...

Cheers,
Robert
