I think a few keys may have worked on mine when I got it but not many. If you can short rows to columns and get notes, then the key contacts are not working.

You can also clean the contacts on the circuit board with some alcohol. If things are really tough, gently use a pink pencil eraser. You can try taking a

Don’t forget that Bob Weigel at sounddoctorin.com still has some stick-on carbon dots for sale. Not cheap, but a lot less messy than painting conductive goop

Thanks. I ve been looking at the schem. I assume the key scanning is working correctly. Eg the appegiator would not work. Is it very common for all key

If you felt like replacing the Arpeggiator s microprocessor (which is also the Key Scanning and Voice Assigner microprocessor), you can do it with an Arduino.
2014-11-15 by Bob Grieb
I already have a PIC design that replaces the key assigner and addsMIDI, but it s based on the Korg code, and seems to have the same delayas the original MCU,

Alrighty, so it is what it is I suppose. I guess a long winded solution would be fully replacing the arp system with a custom designed version such as an
2014-11-15 by Bob Grieb
The arpeggiator is code inside the key assigner. An interrupt signal is generated by an edge either on the remote trigger or the oscillator on the front

That kind of instability on a new clone board is usually caused by an erratic clock. If you used 10pf and 22pf capacitors for C5 and C6 near the 6MHz ceramic

In manual mode you should be able to control the op amp buffer outputs by changing the front panel control. If that works, the the cpu is reading the cutoff
