Discussion about the Korg PolySix synthesizer

As GMM said, you may still have bad part/traced there...

I would socket all ICs near the battery area and replace them,
as well as wiring the traces.

There will be parts that visually look OK to you but are actually bad.
The acid just gets anywhere.

I've done that repair on my Kawai SX-210 and helped a friend on his 
P6 and in both cases it was not simple but definately worth the 
effort.
