Hi, There are pictures of the Korg MIDI Retrofit in the files section of the list: http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/PolySix/photos/albums/912066063 According to these the big IC sockets (DIL40) are for the CPUs of the KLM-366 and KLM-367 board and flat cables which connect to KLM-366, KLM-367. Additionally there is a smaller IC socket (DIL14 or DIL16) which accepts a flat cable connecting the MIDI jack I/O module at the rear panel.
