Re: [PolySix] Please help on MIDI Retrofit Kit P6-MRK made by Korg USA in 1986

2013-11-10 by Johannes Hausensteiner

Hi,

There are pictures of the Korg MIDI Retrofit in the files section of the
list: http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/PolySix/photos/albums/912066063

According to these the big IC sockets (DIL40) are for the CPUs of the
KLM-366 and KLM-367 board and flat cables which connect to KLM-366,
KLM-367. Additionally there is a smaller IC socket (DIL14 or DIL16)
which accepts a flat cable connecting the MIDI jack I/O module at the
rear panel.

You might contact the author of this post:

Apparently he owns a Korg retrofit as well. He might be able to give
you more information.

Johannes
